During your stay at our resort you can also enjoy cup of tea with lovely pastries at our atmospheric tearoom, TeaHouse of Wehmais. TeaHouse of Wehmais is located in the beautiful courtyard of old Wehmaa manor in Juva about 20 km from PihlasResort. In summertime you have also a possibility to enjoy our Café Trapesa’s delicacies right next to PihlasResort.
Restaurant Siimes
Siimes, ‘Shade’ in Finnish, refers to the place where animals take a rest from the sun, on a hot summer day. In this case the name is omen because we want to offer our guests place to rest and relax while enjoying great food and drink in a warm and alluring atmosphere.
In Restaurant Siimes we are proud to serve the best Saimaa region has to offer and for that reason our menus vary seasonally. Are you ready to taste all the beautiful ingredients from our lakes, forests, fields, and gardens on your breakfast, lunch and dinner plate?
BREAKFAST
We want you to wake up to a glorious feeling each morning. This is why our breakfast is tailored to your personal taste. Whether you like to start you day with something light or hearty, you can build the perfect breakfast for you from our seasonal menu. From our seasonal breakfast menu, you can find selection of daily warm dishes, freshly baked breads with different accompaniments, porridge and yogurt with toppings, selection of Finnish cheeses and pastries, local juices, coffee, and tea.
Breakfast is served for resorts’ guest every day from 8 am to 10.30 am.
SUMMER LUNCH
Would you like to enjoy your lunch while admiring view over the beautiful Pihlas Park
During summertime Restaurant Siimes and its scenic terrace serve also tasty bistro-style lunch daily from 12 pm to 3 pm. Lunch reservations are open also for non-resort visitors during summer.
DINNER
What could be a better way to spend the evening than enjoying culinary experiences in great company? Restaurant Siimes serves only one seasonal full-course menu, which is also always available as a vegetarian version. The content of menu is designed by our main chef Janne Ikonen based on the season and the local ingredients available. Together with our mesmerizing menu we recommend you to try our high-quality wine pairings or alcohol-free drink pairings. If you prefer our waiters are also happy to help you select your drinks from our wide menu.
Dinner servings start at 6 pm, and last serving at 8.30 pm. Table will be reserved for 3.5 hours. Dinner reservations are open also for non-resort visitors.

Club Koto
Koto, old-fashioned word for “Home” in Finnish.
Clubhouse Koto’s warm atmosphere creates a perfect setting to relax and spend time.
To guarantee serene atmosphere Koto is open for resort guests only.

During summertime clubhouse’s patio and rooftop terrace offer perfect setting

SUMMER LUNCH
During summertime our guests can enjoy their light three-course lunch in Koto.
Lunch includes an appetizer, main course, and a small dessert served with coffee and tea, and it is included in accommodation package.
SUMMER DINNER
Would you like to enjoy delicious grilled local fish or meat with fresh sides?
During summer evenings Koto transforms into cozy restaurant serving tasty grilled food in family style. After dinner spend your evening enjoying refreshing cocktails at Koto’s rooftop terrace while admiring beautiful lake view.
Lounge Bar Talvipuutarha
Would you like to take a moment and enjoy a glass of your favourite drink
while admiring the greenery of our Talvipuutarha – “Winter Garden”?
Our resort’s lounge bar offers a perfect setting for enjoying glass of elegant bubbles
or aromatic wine, surprising cocktail or other warm and cold refreshments.
In addition to wide selection of drinks Talvipuutarha serves also
small savoury snacks and sweet delicacies within opening hours from 11am-2am.

Café Trapesa
Next to the PihlasResort and The Church of St. George you can find Café Trapesa
that serves light lunch and delicious pastries with hot and cold drinks.
During summertime 1.6. – 31.8. Café Trapesa is open from Thursday to Sunday 11am-5pm.
In addition to this the cafe is open year-round on the days when Orthodox church ceremonies are held in The Church of St. George.
TeaHouse of Wehmais
Would you like to have a cup of tea? TeaHouse of Wehmais is a charming tearoom located in the beautiful courtyard of old Wehmaa manor in Juva, approximately 20 km from PihlasResort. At TeaHouse of Wehmais you can enjoy high quality tea with savoury and sweet delicacies from different tea cultures.
From the same building you can find also lovely tea and delicacy boutique where you can find over 100 tea varieties, wide selection of tea accessories, and local delicacies from TeaHouse of Wehmais’ own kitchen and from Saimaa.
